The open vise tie and demos take place at the same time. There is a large table where attendees can sit and tie whatever flies they want. During that time, attendees can also visit the 5 tables where the guest tyers will be demonstrating different style flies and techniques. Attendees can sit down to ask questions, watch or just hang out. Last year, attendees would spend some time tying and the rest of the time watching the demos.

There is a large bar area where food can be ordered for lunch throughout the event.
